Set on the banks of Soda Creek only three miles from the Steamboat ski area via a free ski-shuttle, this quiet bed and breakfast attracts folks who, after a long day on the slopes, want to be away from the hustle of the apres-ski scene near the mountain.

The Details
The three rooms (each with a private bath) are charmingly named and decorated. The twin-bedded Wicker Room overlooks the pond. The Pine Room has a handmade log bed, and the Classic Room has a wrought-iron, leaf motif bed. Local artwork and hand-woven tapestries decorate the walls. Breakfasts can be as simple as a berry smoothie with homemade granola or as hearty as huevos rancheros with green chile. Afterward, guests can spend the rest of the morning reading in the sunroom.…
