Don't waste your time!. After reading the number of negative Yelp dotcom reviews about slow and poor service, we thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt and try it out....WOW! Our experience was AWFUL! Server arrived at our table chomping on gum, big turnoff! The entire night she was slow, unfriendly, in a hurry, RUDE, short, and frankly just a bitch to be completely honest.

Food took FOREVER to arrive at our table...just the appetizer took 25 minutes as well as two kids meals. Main entrees took way too long as well.

Food was very average, beer too was very average...nothing stood out as being good, or great. I had the sampler (7 beers), which when we got the bill I noticed cost $14!! A few nights before we were at a different brewery and the same sampler was $8...the next night we went to Breck Brewery and it was $10, both with much better beer than Backcountry.

My wife, who is a GM for a 4 star fine dining restaurant, always tries to give restaurants a break, knowing the industry and how it all works...we couldn't keep quiet regarding the evening...she pulled the GM aside and described the experience...he offered nothing but a simple apology and hoped we'd give them another chance...HA! We'll NEVER go back!

If you're in the area and want to hit a brewery AVOID this one! Try Dillon Dam, Pug Ryan, or drive a short 9 miles into Breckenridge and go to Breckenridge Brewery, but don't waste your time here. Trust the negative reviews on this site and go elsewhere!

This sprawling, two-level brewpub attracts Frisco, Colorado visitors hungry for high-quality beer, food and a dose of mountain culture.. In Short
The ski lodge-style setting sports massive timbers in the ceiling as well as window-seat views of the Frisco community. The bar draws a younger crowd of skiers, snowboarders and year-round types, the upstairs dining room appeals to families, tourists and large parties. Virtually every offering here is five-star caliber, from the crisp and clean pilsner to the highly hopped Telemark IPA. Fans of dark drafts will swoon over the oatmeal stout and the coffee-enhanced porter.
