What People Are Saying About Downstairs At Eric's

In Short – This hot spot is buzzing with tourists and locals looking for a good time. Video games and walls of televisions create a casual, relaxing environment after a day of skiing or hiking. The bar claims 120 or more beers, with 22 on tap. All of the alcohol can be soaked up with a slice of delicious pizza, like the wheat garlic crust pie. Lighter options include Ceasar salad, topped with large pieces of chicken. –

Great Pizza, Avoid on Weekends and in-season
by tshinn
This establishment is a true pizza place complete with great food, awesome beer selection and old-school video games. The staff is nice and fast. They are really helpful when it comes to selecting a beer. They also offer pitcher beer which is a huge plus. The pizza is tasty as it comes in garlic crust, white or wheat and the flavor really makes the pizza something special. Eric's can be quite busy the winter season and the weekends can be a pain but the staff does a great job of seating quickly within reason. Moreover, if one is waiting for a table, the bar is great as well as the game area. Just be prepared for a ton of kids.
- Pros: Great Pizza, Great Beer Selection
- Cons: Kids
Great Food, especially pizza! Fun Atmosphere

Breckenridge has become a summer tradition for my family - for almost 20 years. One of the places we look forward to year after year is Downstairs at Eric's. The pizza is great - and honestly I haven't tried much else off the menu - but I've never heard any complaints about the burgers and appetizers either! It truly is a family friendly sports bar - fun for all ages - with TVs and music and video games. A definite must if you're looking for a place to kick back and have a good time!!
- Pros: Food, Ambiance
- Cons: There can be a wait during peak seasons
Not a typical sports bar

Upon first glimpse, this will look like a typical sports bar. Lots of signs on the walls and TV's everywhere. Look closer.
This is a fantastic, non-smoking family friendly restaurant masquerading as a sports bar. The food choices were your typical fare, but they were prepared so well that you wouldn't want to go elsewhere.
The crowd was mixed with young 18 somethings all the way up to parents with their smaller children and grandparents. No one seemed out of place
- Pros: Non Smoking, Good food
Good Food, Good Prices
by drwood1
My wife and I took our three children to Eric's for lunch not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find a menu that not only offered a wide variety but was also reasonably priced. The selection focusses mainly on sandwiches and pizza, however, my wife ordered a plate of rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes which was excellent. Eric's has a sports bar atmosphere where you can see several TV's from every seat. There is a good size video arcade where the kids can play, providing some quiet time for the adults. We enjoyed our experience so much that we make a return visit prior to ending our ski vacation.
- Pros: Reasonably priced, Good atmoshere, Good food
- Cons: Peak hour waiting
