Big Fan of Louies

Louie's is the closest thing in Paragould that can be considered "Fine Dining". The point of fine dining isnt large portions because the meat is a much higher grade of than you would get at a normal restaurant, say Chili's. It is also the atmosphere so yes it is romantic and upscale.
They have a greater selection of wine whether you are a white wine or red wine drinker than anyone else in town. Another upscale restaurant perk.
I had the petite flet mignon and my friend had the regular size, veggies, etc. We had peanut butter pie for dessert. He is a big guy and went away full. By the way, the peanut butter pie is heavenly.
Emmy was my waitress and did a fantastic job. The last time I was there was New Year's Eve. They were extremely busy. She kept her cool and us company until our food was ready. Dax and Tanner were very pleasant and hospitable as well.
When friends come into town I definitely tell them about Louie's.

usually get steak and it is good but pricey. One of the few restaurants in the area where you can eat and drink wine. Nice atmosphere and service is so-so.

Weird Experience

My boyfriend took me here for a romantic dinner and we wound up having two waitresses fight over serving us...one calling the other an unpleasant name and telling us the and one crying! Really was a romantic atmosphere but I would have loved more food on the dish! The food was good but I hope they learned how to work with each other!

Overpriced

Food is okay. Romantic seating. Too pricey for what you get.....or don't get.
