I thought they were awesome 9years ago, now they suck.. I just moved back to HSV from NSV. I tried to call and make an appointment with Jacki, who I just adored, but I don't have insurance and they do NOT give discounts to SELF PAY patients. I pay up front to all docs I see, but only if they can work with me on the amounts. There is no reason that someone without insurance should be discriminated against. That is how I feel. I should not have to pay $300.00 for an office visit when BCBS is only paying them $150.00 They are obviously greedy and dont care about their patient's just their patient's money. Needless to say I have found a dr., Dr. Joseph Fiore @ Alabama Women's Health Care, PC, that will let me pay the BCBS allowed amount. I still wish I could have seen Jackie, since she was my GYN from the time I was 18 until I moved, but what can you do?
