area is really quiet and serene. I would definitely stay. This work out great. The owners have a special system regarding keys/access to cabins as a result of which there was no need for any "check-in" and in fact we did not even meet the owners. We did not seek them out either and they did not come to see us, which was fine. The cabin (Wolf''s Den) is really nice, has 2 beadrooms, a small living room-dining room-kitchen and bathroom. There is complimentary coffee and tea. Everything seems to be preety new and is clean and neat. The only rule I saw being posted was about washing dishes, which I consider a standard. The cabins look over a nice small pond an trees and the whole area is really quiet and serene. I would definitely stay there again.

a delightful place to stay from the moment of arrival.. This was a delightful place to stay from the moment of arrival. The cabins are spotless and very well equipped. There is much work going on in the garden but already has 2 fire pits, a BBQ, a pond and stream and all surrounded by beatiful flowers and trees. The fire pit was a great focal point for those that wish to join in with a few drinks around a fire in the evening - enlivened by the occasional moose popping in to see what was going on. We as a family have travelled extensively in the US and stayed in all manner of hotels, B&Bs etc but this is without doubt our favourite - a wonderful experience and one we would recommend to anyone most strongly.

staff at Box Canyon Cabins were very friendly and sensitive. We had a complete blast!!! The staff at Box Canyon Cabins were very friendly and sensitive to all of our needs. The atmosphere was amazing. The cabins are nestled at the foot of a majestic mountain with a pond as the centerpiece.

friends and we stayed at the Box Canyon Cabins several times. I have also traveled with fishing friends and we stayed at the Box Canyon Cabins several times now. We will return.

All had a great time. Clean, nice, comfortable, quiet, great. My wife and I traveling with friends spent several days at the Box Canyon Cabins. All had a great time. Clean, nice, comfortable, quiet, great get away in Alaska.

anyone looking for a rustic, yet luxurious experience.. Our stay in the Bear's Den cabin was wonderful. It offered all the amenities we expected, was extremely clean, and highly comfortable. The hosts, Barb and Cliff Young, made us feel very welcome. They suggested restaurants, local places of interest, and helped us have a great charter fishing adventure. I highly recommend the cabins to anyone looking for a rustic, yet luxurious experience. This will not be our only stay!

always enjoyed my time spent there. The accomodations. I have stayed at Box Canyon Cabins numerious times and have always enjoyed my time spent there. The accomodations are outstanding, and the grounds are spectacular.

The cabin was in perfect condition. Just wanted to write a quick note to let folks know what a great time we had at the Box Canyon Cabins back in August. The cabin was in perfect condition, very clean. The owners were wonderful hosts. Really enjoyed the dish network tv, when we were in the cabin. The pond, and gas grill were nice additions from the last time we stayed. The silver fishing was great as we limited out. Cliff was our guide on his boat the Melinda Rose. Great place to stay, Thanks.

Box Canyon Cabins is the best place to stay. Box Canyon Cabins is the best place to stay while visiting Seward, Alaska. It is ideally located to provide access to fishing, sightseeing or other outdoor activities. It's ideal setting and beautiful cabins make it a relaxing place to come back to after a full day of activities. The owners are extremely helpful and knowlegable about the area. They will bend over backwards to make your stay a pleasent one.
