awesome. The customer service at Doctor of Motors was exceptional ! My friends highly recommended them when I was looking to get my car smoged. My car unfortunately did not pass. I was so upset but they reassured me that I have nothing to worry about and that they can help. My biggest fear was paying the mechanics to find a mystery problem. We immediately created a clear plan of action and they explained... read more everything in detail. They found the problem right away corrected it. My car was re-smoged the same day and I was on my way. I enjoyed my experience at Doctor of Motors and would recommend them to anyone for any repair big or small. The trust I found in Doctor of Motors is priceless

A mechanic you can Trust! ( I won, see edit!!!!!)

This place was amazing, my situation was a confusing one and these guys handled it like pros all the way. Robert was fantastic. He was so nice, so professional, and made me feel at ease. I was greeted within seconds of entering the building, there was no excessive wait at any point during my visit. Everything was laid out in a comprehensive quote, and there was absolutely no fluff, I was never concerned I was being pushed into paying for something I didn't want or need. They had an amazing waiting room with toys for kids, water, plenty of seating and more. So even if your a mom of three like me, your not stuck with fussy and bored babies. Their prices are the best in town! They are friendly, trustworthy, and their work is hands down worth every penny. Thanks guys so much for taking care of me and my family!

Edit: I am editing this because it will not let me write a new review. I said in the beginning these guys were honest and trustworthy and last week I was once again proved right. They held a contest for an apple ipad 2. If you wrote a review for them your name was entered into the contest, obviously you had to be a past or present customer. Last week on Thurs I got a call, I won. I couldn't believe it and wouldn't until I was holding my ipad. Well Tues I got another call, "it's here and waiting for you" Robert said. I still can't believe it, and I've had it for 2 days now, an honest to God brand new, still shrink wrapped ipad 2. These guys go above and beyond time and time again, and their honesty is nothing sort of amazing. Thank you so much Doctor of Motors for everything, but especially my ipad 2!

Bad experience. Never go to this place you will regret it. I took my car in to fix 2 problems but they told me it had 4 problems and decided to fix them. But it turns out they didn't even fix the original 2 problems that I took it in for. They are worthless and just assume that it's one issue without being certain. I feel like they just want to scam you off of your money and avoid actually fixing your car. Never go to this place please avoid the dishonestly

Friendly, Efficient, Helpful, Reasonably-Priced. Wow. What a great experience. I drove right on in, was greeted immediately by Miguel Lugo, who is extremely friendly and helpful, and headed over to the waiting room while everything was taken care of for me. I went in for a smog, oil and brake check. Miguel knew all the DMV procedures, so I just handed over my car and my paperwork and he took care of everything. I was in the waiting room maybe 30 minutes or so when they called me out to collect my car and completed paperwork. I thought the pricing was very reasonable and there were no add-ons or surprises. Felt like I was in and out in a flash. I was extremely pleased with the experience.

Great Guys, Great Shop!. So glad I found these guys when I first moved to Chico six years ago. They've been helping me out with my Pathfinder, which probably shouldn't still be running, more times than I can count. One of the last times I went in, they were super busy, but still stopped and checked it for me. The most recent visit was yesterday, and my care barely rolled in about and hour after closing for them. They fixed my alternator and got it back to me today. Great guys and always remember your name.

Honest and reliable repair shop in Chico!. HIGHLY RECOMMEND...I have brought my Saturn in twice and the staff at Doctor of Motors have been amazing. They always have a smile on their face and take the time to thoroughly explain what is wrong with the car and what they need to do to fix it. They give you recommendations on what needs to be done and lets you decide what is right for you and your budget. I would definitely bring any of our cars there for needed repairs.
