Good French Bistro Food in Downtown Healdsburg

My wife and I had dinner here a few days ago. I can recommend it to anyone in the area looking for good French food. I was only mildly disappointed because I expected to be blown away by the dining experience and was not. The escargots came swimming in garlic (a good thing in my humble opinion), but the snails themselves were "so-so".
The duck confit I had was quite good (they give you 2 duck legs) as were the beans. The ambiance was very pleasant and the service good. Prices were reasonable. I wish I could wax lyrical about this place, but cannot and to be fair to the proprietor I am still trying to figure out what they missed!

Wonderful Experience!

My husband and I went here for our first night in Healdsburg upon the recommendation of another couple at our B & B...it couldn't have been better! I'm one of those high maintenance people you look at in a restaurant and sigh...for the first time, I completely trusted a server and took all of her recommendations...right down to the wine pairing...we in turn passed along the recommendation to another couple! Thanks for a perfect first night!

RUDE

Stopped in for lunch, having heard good things from a couple people. When we asked if we could sit farther away from the front door (rainy & chilly that day, and the place wasn't packed) the waitress actually rolled her eyes & walked away. After watching her complain to her co-worker as she grabbed menus, we were out of there. Too bad one person gave us such a bad impression - the menu looked interesting and we were hungry!
