Shopping >Camarillo Premium Outlets
Great place to Shop. We go each other week and we find the buys we can't find else ware. they have a great selection and lots of parking
This and other cool designer outlets!. Do you want to find this and many other outlet malls? Check out ‘Designer Outlets’ applications for iPhone. They have hundreds of designer and factory outlet centers across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. You can browse outlet center directories, connect to outlet websites (and find current promotions!), and map the route from your current or chosen location to the outlet center. Awesome!
Where bargain-hunting Angelenos go to find brand-name labels for half price..
Like a small city unto itself, this sprawling outdoor mall located 40 minutes north of L.A. boasts more than 100 name-brand outlet stores, including Barneys New York, BCBG, Banana Republic, Charles David, Coach and Polo Jeans. Inventory can be hit-and-miss. Ann Taylor Loft, BR and BCBG stock plenty of capri pants, stretchy T-shirts, tailored suits and other current styles at prices reduced more than 40 percent.
Hits: Unlike similar outlets that seem to quickly run out of choice merchandise, many of the shops here, such as Banana Republic and Saks Off Fifth, offer in-season items as well as deeply discounted finds.
Misses: If you get here during the afternoon rush, parking can be a stressful ordeal.
My Favorite Outlet Mall.
I live in Santa Clarita but cheerfully drive the hour to get to the Camarillo outlets. They have a really nice selection of outlet stores and the mall is nicely designed out so you're pretty much walking in a big circle around the vast parking lot.
Favorite stores include Van Heusen, Geoffrey Beane, Bass, Mikasa, Brooks Bros., Ann Taylor and on and on. It's true that in some stores it's hard to tell the difference between regular prices and outlet prices, but at places like Brooks Bros. and Ann Taylor the savings are tremendous. There's a decent food court and restrooms are in a few locations. Always check at the office for discounts.
In the Fall, I drive along Highway 126 between Santa Clarita and the 101; the scenic drive really adds to the overall experience. That drive is always nice, but in Fall you see pumpkin fields along the 101!
Get to the mall early and pick a plum parking spot in a central location. It's nice to be able to dump your goodies in your car as you go rather than dragging them around all day. Great place for Christmas shopping too!
Plenty of Good Stores in One Location. Camarillo Outlets have plenty of good stores with great deals all in one stop. It's a must visit spot when you want to get all of your shopping done in one day.
Hit or Miss. With any outlet mall, it's always hit or miss. It just depends when you go and if you get lucky. I was there last weekend and didn't find anything. Although the Saks and Barney's had ok inventory. I'm sure it will get better once the sales are over at the retail stores and it's sent to the outlets.
9. oh yeah, you can find lots of brand names at cheaper price!
a once in awhile stop. Every once in awhile im forced to come here when driving on the way to oxnard with family. I dont mind much because sometimes you can find some good deals and there are so many stores to look at. But i wouldnt recommend making a day out of it. You can only look so much! Plus here you mostly find styles that are already going out of style and the prices arent that great. In other words if your driving by.. cool.. but dont go out of your way.
Great Deals on Great Brands. My wife and I stop and shop at the Camarillo Outlets every year on our way to or from Santa Barbara. We always load up on tons of high quality discounted gear from great brand name stores like Polo, Gap, Nike, and Timberland. The best feature about the Outlets is the broad selection and the worst feature is trying to find parking on busy weekend days.
