Good food, great drinks, lively atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the mood for Mexican. Don't expect super-authentic dishes because everything has a bit of a twist to it. We loved the fried artichokes and the sopes. The margaritas were great and its a fun atmosphere.

Unique and Delicious!. If you're looking for typical saucy, cheesy Mexican fare, you would be better off sticking with a chain restaurant. If you want something fresh, unique, and delicious, go to Maya's. It's a shame that the last reviewer was disappointed because his meal was not swimming in enchilada sauce. Apparently the chef knows that it would be a shame to cover up the delicious, fresh flavors of the dishes here. Because it's not your standard burrito joint, I would recommend reading the food descriptions thoroughly or looking around at what everyone else is eating. Bob's Original Margarita is excellent with any meal here.

YUCK!. This is quiet possibly the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to.

Whenever I go to a new Mexican restaurant, I'll stick with my usual staple, cheese enchiladas, as I think NO ONE could mess these up, it's so simple... apparently not!

When my dish arrived, I got two fried corn tortillas filled with cheese, and a "tine" amount of sauce. Cheese enchiladas are suppose to be cheesy and drowned in sauce... seriously, it tasted like fried cheese in corn tortillas with no flavor.

Service was admirable but I don't care how good the serice is... if the food isn't good, I'm not coming back.

Edited: A cheese enchilada is a cheese enchialada and the flavor of the dish comes FROM the sauce - that is a staple with any enchilada dish, the sauce is what makes the dish.

Loved it!. This was our favorite place to eat in Sonoma. The food was great, and the service fantastic. We enjoyed it and the prices were reasonable. We had a far better experience here than at the highly overrated Italian place just down the street.
