BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN BOSTON – Best Indian Food in Boston. Excellent Kebabs, great buffet. If only words can define the kebab factorys regular and special curries. Superb Service Polite, generous and attentive server. Its been too long I've been started eating at the kebab, food always taste DELICIOUS. Need to expand a bit more since it gets crowdy over the buffet time but it is one of the best fine dine Indian Restaurant in Boston.
Best Indian Buffet in Boston – The most mind-boggling spread of delicious Indian food ever! You just can't go wrong with the Kebab factory lunch buffet. Be prepared to wait your turn to be seated. Its a little crowded in there, but ITS WORTH IT!
Best Indian Food! – I just saw the Best Of Citysearch list for Indian Restaurants and was surprised that Kebab Factory wasn't listed there. Instead, there were quite a few awful restaurants which I wouldn't step into again! Bottomline, BOC reviewers have no clue what good Indian food really is! I have eaten at their buffet and ordered off the menu, and both were excellent. The place does get crowded on the weekends at lunch - so either go in early, or be prepared to wait a bit! Unlike other Indian restaurants, their buffet menu changes often - all the more reason become a frequent visitor!
best indian preparation of chicken kebabs near Boston – Being from Bombay, we tend to be picky about food at Indian restaurants in the US. However the Kebab Factory has become our favourite place near Boston for eating North Indian style Indian food especially meat dishes (chicken, goat or lamb).
Have been here for dinner on some special occassions, and once for a weekend buffet. We enjoyed all the dishes, we tried so far. Of special mention are the "Pepper chicken kebabs" and "The Curry" which are excellent. Each and everything from their kitchen is made with great attention to detail. The server and cook were generous and prompt in responding to special requests for add-ons, customizing the dishes.
The portions are generous, which can provide the option for a tasty left-over lunch on the next day. the deserts are sumptuous.
Our Favorite any night – We order from here often and it is a great place to take friends. There is something for everyone and it is all very good. I have never had soup at an Indian restaurant before and theirs is so good that sometimes we just order some soup and naan. The best soups are the spinach soup and the mushroom soup! Also particularly good (and unique) is the Tandoori Mahi Mahi. The servers are all attentive and very nice, making this an all around favorite restaurant of ours.
It's all about the food... – If it's GREAT indian food you want, THIS is THE place. Every single dish tastes different (not the same base curry sauce in every dish). You can taste the freshness and smell the spices in each and every dish. This is what Indian food is all about. Place is a bit small and the servers are a bit 'inexperienced' but who really cares - when the food tastes this GREAT - you tend to over look everything else. Parking is a pain - but again, when you are chewing on that juicy chicken tandoori - you forget everything else!!!!
Fantastic Indian... you won't be disappointed! – The only con about The Kebab Factory is barely a con - the prices are a little high but the food and service makes up for it. The tasty cuisine and generous portions will almost make you forget the prices! The service is also pretty good to the point where they will usually offer you a complimentary appetizer (tasty soup) - even with take-out! I haven't tried too many different dishes since I can't seem to get enough of the few that I have tried - EXCELLENT Tikka Masala! The buffet is also a must but be prepared for extreme food coma to set in due to the amount that you will inevitably consume.
Not just your average neighborhood restaurant – Situated halfway between my office and home, it escaped my notice for months because of its upscale look and slightly higher menu prices. Then one day I decided to try their takeout. While waiting for my food, the hospitable staff tempted me with a small cup of complimentary soup. I took a moment to relax in the silk-covered ambiance before venturing back into the world.
Now I'm something of a regular fixture at the Kebab Factory, especially on a slow lunch day. Their lunch buffet, which not nearly as flavorful as their dinnertime dishes (spices are muted for the curry-challenged), is an excellent place to sit, relax, enjoy food, and then spend some time going over paperwork while digesting my meal.
Despite its name, this place is more of an upscale Indian restaurant than a carry-out joint. – This restaurant sports an upscale feel and decor similar to those of its sister establishments. Diners look through the glass that separates the dining room from the kitchen and view sizzling skewers of kebabs. The signature Kundan Kaaliya dish (carved mutton on a bed of rich, saffron-flavored gravy with edible gold leaves) is quite a sight.
Very fresh and flavorful – Had avoided this place for some time because prices seemed a bit high but took a chance and was thoroughly pleased with dining experience. It doesn't look like much from outside but inside is pleasing and warm and food selection is far beyond the standard Indian fare. Dishes were all bursting with fresh flavors and we could hardly get enough. In the end portions are very large (one entree could be shared by two) so cost was not at all a dissapointment
