Ridiculously AWFUL

This hotel was shockingly awful!!
It started at the front desk during checkin when the lady behind the counter totally ignored us while she talked on the phone. I should have just left at that point, but I didn't. Our room was just okay, nothing special, but the walls must be made of paper. You could hear the people in the next room talking! The other thing that was not pleasant at all was the mold issues throughout the building, especially in the pool area. It was really gross. Next time I think I'll just drive the rest of the way to Madison and get a nicer place.
Very poor service......Don't expect to get what you request.

I reserved a crib for my one year old and a room with two beds when I booked the room. I checked in at 5 and they told me a crib was in my room with a single king. Fine, I can make due with the king...my six year old can sleep on the couch or in the king with my husband and I.....went to the room no crib, had to go to an event and requested the crib again as I left the hotel and they said not a problem then stated it would be in my room right away. Got back to the hotel around midnight and no crib......called the front desk and got "oh we will get one right up". Got a knock on the door and hotel employee stated so sorry we don't have any cribs they are all taken. He told me they were on a first come first serve basis......which put me over the edge since I requested one when I booked, checked in and again prior for leaving for my event in the evening. Not happy at all. Did make for much sleep with a six year old and one year old rolling around the bed between my husband and I. The front desk staff were young men that wore baseball caps and had facial piercing and gave you the deer in head lights look when you questioned them, very unprofessional. I don't have issues with piercings or ball caps but there is a time and place for both and a job working with the public is neither. I have tried to contact the manager on four different days and times and she is never there........also very unprofessional due to the fact I have left her messages to call me. I will never go to his hotel again and I wouldn't recommend anyone go there that has expectations for special accomadations.
