The exterior has the look of a quaint cottage and the interior is warm, bright and homey with ferns other green plants abound. Take a seat in one of the cozy booths or at a table.
The Food
The lunch menu features more than a dozen sandwiches served with fries, salad or homemade soup. For an extra dollar, you can choose two side dishes. Dinner entrées are hearty fare served with soup and your choice of salad, potato, rice or vegetable. The honey-pecan chicken and shrimp includes a lightly battered chicken breast filet and two jumbo prawns ($7.65). The sauce is tasty—not overly sweet—and the mashed potatoes are made with real spuds.
Other dinner entrées include two center-cut pork chops ($7.20), halibut steak ($10), rainbow trout ($8.30) and top sirloin with mushrooms ($8.70). Homemade soups are featured daily.
