Great Cuisine

I am a die hard fan of TOLI and one of the very first loyal customers since it was back in Atwater. I have since moved away from Merced, but whenver I return Parm greats me by name and provides great conversation. To this day, I compare all other punjab cuisine to TOLI. A must have is Navratan Korma and Vegetable Pakoras.

Great authentic Indian food!

Stopped by with a buddy after going to the Mochi Making at nearby Livingston. My second or third time for lunch and the food and service are always excellent. There is a buffet (lunch only?) as well as the menu items. I live in Sacramento so it is a two hour drive for me, but a stop at Taste of Little India will always figure into any travel plans in the Central Valley. I just wish they'd open up a restaurant up here in Sacramento or nearby. Sacramento has a few Indian restaurants, but this restaurant is unique and I'd be a regular.
- Pros: Great food, easy to find, moderate prices, great parking
- Cons: Too far from me (I'm in Sacramento); only a con for me; you're set if you live closer.

Great Place

Food here is wonderful...i'm from san francisco and i was in merced visting relatives and decided to go to the restaurant because i love indian food, especially living in san francisco there's alot of indian restaurants..didn't expect it to be that good...but it was wonderful...service is a little slow but it's worth the wait....and the people there are very friendly...:o)
