the southside bar in the suburbs. i live across the street from this place and go here for $2 drafts on tuesday and even with such a low price i think that the service the food and the environment are terrible....right now Im listening to a skipping track of a song for the last 15 min without anyone noticing....the burger sucked and the glasses are only half clean......lame....going to mad mex...

Now an English pub, this space once housed a department store, a community college annex and a Discovery Zone. There are plenty of televisions, three rooms of pool tables and a room with darts and video games. A regulation shuffleboard table with electronic scoring tops off the Toyland list. Warning: Game prices tend to be more expensive than elsewhere.
The British are known for their ales, and there are plenty on tap--36 in all, with another 200 bottled varieties. There's a full smokehouse menu with pork and beef. The fish-and-chips are about the best in Pittsburgh, and the wings are probably the biggest. Don't miss the cheese and beer soup, served in a small bowl of bread that turns into an edible fondue pot halfway through the meal.
