Love this place. My family and I have enjoyed this place ever since we moved to the davis square area. The food is great! I always judge an Indian restaurant by their Mali Kofta. I love this restaurant's take on it. I craved Indian food throughout my pregnancy, and this place always satisfied. The decor is nice (I don't understand the negative comments about the decor.) The servers and the manager are nice, and this was the first restaurant we took our daughter too when she was little. She liked looking out the window. It was kid friendly to us at 5pm. I"ve taken visiting family to this restaurant and they also loved the place. I think some people are being really unfair about this restaurant. I think it says more about the reviewers than the restaurant.

Neighborhood Gem for Davis. First Indian restaurant i've been to in years and I had a great time! Dali offers a four-course prie fixe menu that is relatively cheap with tons of options and I suggest you take advantage. This was a great way to re-introduce myself to Indian food. They also give you plenty of naan and the tandoori chicken is very good.

Wonderful decor with a partially open view kitchen, tin ceilings, and comfy booths. In the summer they have hookah service and next door there's a new-age bubble-themed lounge that is so strange you really have to go see it for yourself.

Can't say enough good things about Dali, except that the service was pretty slow when we were there....something every review seems to mention and definitely a trend amongst all the One World eateries i've been to.

Definitely a good place to check out!

I have never eaten food this bad and never had service terrible like this. No offense the guy with tie was nothing but a joke, he was doing nothing but watching TV! I waited so badly to walk out but I had to stay 15 minute just to pay the bill.Think twice before u go in.

Better to order take-out. I went there tonight after saw a movie with my friends in Sommerville theater. It looks nice from outside, but after I was seated, I would never want to come here again. The host didn't even smile at all; the seat was not comfortable and sticky; table was shaking all the time. After I told the host about changing a table, he just totally ignored me and put some pad under the table.

After we ordered, I was surprised that the food was tasty and served pretty fast. But the service was terrible. For the whole time, I cannot figure out which waiter should take care of my table because there were four or five waiters come around to take the check. The host didn't say anything when we were eating until we gave the tips.

Terrible service but good food...

Fingers Crossed. My wife and I have been eating at and very much enjoying Diva for many years. We discovered it just before Shalimar closed for renovations. Indian food is about the food and Diva has always been satisfying until last weekend. The pakora were hard as rocks and the chicken tikka were dried out. We have never encountered this before and are wondering if it is a bump in the road or if the good Diva is gone.
