Great Mover. I have used this company time and time again for my corporate relocation. They have always done an excellent job for me. They have always been on time, courteous, polite, and very thorough. I would reccomend this company to anyone who is moving. If you want a great company that will take care of you, they are it!
Dishonest and unprofessional. I would not hire this moving company again under any circumstances. I moved from Nashville to Lexington in June 08. My things were moved into a storage unit while I was waiting to buy a home. As my things were being unloaded a specifically asked the movers what I needed to do about damaged items. He told me that because things were being moved into storage I should contact the company when I moved them into my home so that things could be inspected. He then proceeded to pack things in at top speed without allowing me to inspect all items. When I did just that, I was told that event though I purchased the highest amount of insurance, they would not cover the things after they left the storage unit. I spoke with my move coordinator, Bill Bryant, who agreed that the driver had given me misinformation. He told me that he would take care of it. I patiently filled out all the paperwork that was sent to me and waited. I never heard from the company. I called a month ago, and Bill said he was busy and would get back to me. I left several other messages but never heard back. When Bill finally answered my call today, he said that I would have to call the cooperate Allied headquarters because he couldn't help me. I have now been strung along for 3 months. The company is dishonest and unprofessional and will never get my business again.
Great job guys !.
My wife and I want to thank you and your staff for helping make our move to Nashville a great experience. We were extremely fearful that our move from Florida would be a nightmare. When we researched movers on the internet most of the feedback was negative and we felt like the only choice was to find the best of the worst. Good friends of ours had moved to Wyoming a few years back and they used Allied so we opted to do the same. We were still very nervous through the negotiation process but Allied?s packers and movers in Florida allayed our fears when they handled the first part of our move from Florida. They were prompt , courteous and most of all very respectful of property we had spent years acquiring.Unfortunately we were unable to move into our new residence immediately so our belongings were stored at your warehouse in Nashville.Again my wife and I were nervous, hoping that the Nashville delivery would go as smoothly as the Florida pick up. We were not disappointed. When I called to set up the delivery date your staff had everything already in order. On the morning of delivery three of your staff showed up promptly at 9 a.m. and proceeded to unload two truckloads of our things in a remarkably professional manner. The project supervisor Brian skillfully worked with his two assistants to carefully maneuver a lot of heavy and difficult pieces into our home. When we weren?t quite certain where we wanted something to go Brian would say," We are here to serve you? I heard that phrase all day long as we struggled to get everything in place and Brian and his crew meant every word. Whatever we asked for they did it and they did it without any resentment or complaining. Not one piece of our belongings was damaged and not one of our many items was missing.Congratulations on a job well done. We would most certainly recommend Ted Sanders Moving and Allied Moving to anyone. You can use as a reference anytime so please do not hesitate to contact us
Sincerely,Larry Arnkoff
Don't trust this company. My wife was given this company as an option to handle our corporate move. It was complicated, involving bringing belongings from Canada, USA and England to one location. We had a $10,000 moving allowance and made it clear that this was a hard ceiling. They botched every part of the move they touched. They failed to meet dates that were identified as critical costing us extra money in storage and rent. When asked about this, there was a figurative shrugging of shoulders and "not our fault" response, despite their obvious failure to organize pickups in a timely fashion. We were constantly contacting them to find out what was happening and remind them of what had to be done. We emphasized many times that the cost was fixed. When they decided that there was going to be extra cost to us, they claimed they couldn't provide paperwork to back it up. At this point, we already had the last of our belongings on a ship from England. When we said we wantred to see some sort of paperwork to back up their claim of cost overrun, their response was to say that unless we agreed to pay the driver in cash, our belongings would be put into storage until we caved in. From then on, our e-mails were simply ignored. What a childish reaction. I wrote to the president, Ted Sanders, and gave him a detailed breakdown of just some of the failures that had happened. His response was to accuse me of being sarcastic, yet he also sent me the paperwork that his son Mike had said "didn't exist". He also made comments that were complete lies. Clearly, they were excuses he was given and didn't challenge. We finally paid the ransom to release our belongings. There was at least one bill that didn't even have anything to do with us. We didn't recognize any company named on it. It probably belonged to somebody else that was paying for their move themselves and that Ted thought should "get a break" subsidized by somebody getting financing. These guys are just incompetent and dishonest.
Best Mover I Know. This Company moved me and damaged one item. They paid me 60 cents per lb. because I did not buy their insurance. I don't expect something for nothing. I was very pleased! They worked 3 days moving my 6,000 sq. ft. home and I recommend them to everyone. Don't complain about not getting paid for items if you don't buy the insurance.
