Overview – Figure on a full day's excursion getting to the top of Camel's Hump and back. The exertion is worth it. The eerie, wind-raked summit knob has extremely fragile arctic grasses (watch where you step), and views ranging from the Adirondacks to the White Mountains. Look Good:

The best route is from the east, beginning on the Forestry Trail, then connecting to the Dean Trail and the Long Trail. It's approximately 7.3 miles round-trip to the 4,083-foot peak.
