Check out for yourself. For Don't waste you time.....Lonnie;s is one of the best places my friends and I have been, There is always fun people working and the owner (the one you call disrespectful) has always shown us a great time......so for all of you who have read his post, try it for yourself and see for yourself that it is a great place to go and have a good time.
Don't waste your time!. Of all of the fun places to go to in Nashville... this is NOT one of them. The elderly man that owns it is extremely conceited and rude! Who says you're a rock star and can treat people like dirt if you own a smelly, dodgy bar?! NOT IN NASHVILLE! How does he sleep at night after being so disrespectful to customers?! Really?! I've lived in Nashville my whole life. Hit up Broadway and visit Ms. Kelly's on Printer's Alley. Don't go in this place. It will ruin your night!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?.
Take a tape measure of Lonnies! Cant BE OVER 30 ft
each direction. Whats the Legal Seating. 40? When it
gets Full the Bugs have no Safe place to RUN!
Disapointed big time..
I dont drink Beer. I drink Liquor. Lonnies only has over
priced beer.Plan on taking a hand full of one Dollar bills
because its a lot like being in a Strip bar when it comes to tipping.the bartender.
The Place to go in Nashville. There is not enough to say about Lonnie's. I have been going there for years and although I am not a big fan of the weekend large crowds, it is perfect for me on most any weeknight. Friendly and "family-like"...my sister and I closed it down a few years back (and a few times since) and Lonnie made a pan of brownies that he shared before sending us on our way!!
This karaoke bar is as gritty and authentic as Nashville gets..
In Short
For some, Lonnie's is the heart and soul of Nashville. Caked in memorabilia and photographs, the walls are a living scrapbook of Nashville's glorious past and prosperous present as the home of country music. The infectious atmosphere, along with a few buckets of cold beer, always pull the regulars and first-timers out of the worn red booths and on stage to discover whether they sound as good as they think they do.
User review by amberwat. Fun filled place but it can get a little out of hand. Make sure you go with a group of friends if you go late. You will have a great time!
much better!. I did not want the night to end here! Friendly cowboys, bartender, doorman. Everyone in the place was very cool, in a southern, y'all way!!
