Regular people like art too!. Cheekwood provides a place where the "average joe" can enjoy art and nature. The grounds are well-kept and make for a relaxing stroll for kids and adults. The sculptures aren't pretentious, though the mansion is. But that doesn't make the self-guided tour of the mansion less enticing.

flowerhaven. Cheekwood is a great place for all ages. They always have an Art display and change often. They have different flowers and plants in bloom for all seasons, and the workers are always willing to answer any questions. The trails are quiet, with places to sit and enjoy natures sounds. The resturant has the best food---you really need to eat there & you have a choice of inside or out on the deck. Don't miss out on this special place.

Great day at the park. Cheekwood has it all. Art museum, botanical garden, great lunch restaurant, etc. It makes a perfect day-date.

Nature and art. Cheekwood offers a diverse number of exhibits. If gardening is your thing, the plant life is amazing. Art exhibits range from traditional to contemporary. The outdoor exhibits are legendary. Last summer's big hit was the Big Bugs exhibit. This year, roam through the treehouse exhibit. It is unbelievable. Don't forget the kids' art activities every Saturday morning.
