In Short
New England's lone Six Flags is a 12-acre superhero-themed behemoth with a huge water park that features a giant tide pool and a turbo-charged water slide. The 70-mph Superman Ride of Steel is one of the East Coast's tallest coasters, with a 221-foot drop. Fortunately for the fainthearted and very young, not all of the 100-plus rides are so intense. The park features New England's tallest Ferris wheel and a 90-year-old hand-carved carousel.

I made the mistake of planing a family fun day at SFNE. Let's begin with the $20.00 Preferred Parking, paid in advance, that was unavailable when I arrived. Instead I had to park in the general parking, paying $15.00 with the promise of a refund for the 20 already paid. It has been days and i have not seen the credit. lets move on to the rude useless unprofessional and down right mean park employees. With the exception of 1 person EVERYONE I had to deal with during this day trip was rude. Some of the rudest were found at the waterpark. I asked where the keys were for the lockers, get in line was the reply. The same locker that most places charge 75 cents for are $30.00 at this park! I could not believe how expensive the lockers were until I stopped at a stand to get 2 hotdogs, order of chicken fingers and 3 sodas - $38.00! I know they make their money off this stuff but the rude workers have there hands out at every turn! The water park also closes at 6:00pm, make sure you get changed before this time because they close down the second locker room and force everyone to use one spot, another long line JUST TO GET CHANGED!!! if you try to walk out in your shorts the security guards send you back in.And you cant do anything about it because it is clearly posted everywhere that they can throw you out for just about anything. You really should avoid this place, go to SF in New Jersey. Go to smaller local places, Hersey's park. Anywhere is better than this place. No I have to get a hold of my credit card company and get my money back. hope it was worth it SFNE! your never getting my money EVER AGAIN!

Just went to this park for the first time and as others have said it is very dirty, especially the line queues and the rides themselves. Gum stuck everywhere someone can reach, trash in the bushes, and the rides look liked they've never been wiped down. And this was just after the park had opened. We did Johnny Rockets for lunch and that was a nightmare. About 45 minutes to get two chix fingers and a burger. They couldn't be any less efficient. Hit a few coasters and then was stuck at the top of the Cyclone lift hill for about 10 minutes with no explanation. At least we had nice view of the park. :-) Not even an apology once we did get off. Tried getting a cup of water and the droid behind the counter said they didn't have any water, asked for ice, again no, not even an empty cup. When we were leaving the park Cyclone was again stuck at the top of the hill. They are clearly cutting corners to make some money this year. Take an extra day and drive to Hershey, you'll be glad you did.

This is a great place to go to in the summer. My family got season passes this last year and loved it! We love the rides and the water park. Because it's so convenient we could go for just a couple of hours ride a few things and go home. I would recommend bringing your own food however because it's very expensive.
