This letter is to complain about service I recently received from your company.
My Family, a Friend and her son went to Shoney’s after basketball practice, November 30, 2010 and ate dinner. Needless to say as we were sitting there it was time for the store to close. The waitress whom waited on us showed she was very bothered that we continued to sit there and eat. We ignored her constant attitude in throwing the sign down, breaking a glass and just very rude behavior.
Once we left the store we stood outside and talked as it rained waiting for the rain to let up but in that time the same waitress came outside and continued to show her dissatisfaction toward us. She slammed the door several times and then walked by us several times talking under her breath to herself. We did not have one clue as to what was wrong with the person. Then her ride pulled up and she proceeded to put her middle finger up toward us and yelled out “N-------”. In total shock we laughed at her then she sped off. As we pulled off it dawned on me that this just happen. I picked up the phone and called into the restaurant and spoke to the mang about what just happen. She stated “she would tell the day time Mange in the morning”
The daytime mang called and left a message on my cell phone at 7:30am. December 1, 2010. I returned the call at 10:30am and the staff informed me that he would not be back until Friday, December 3, 2010
I am very bothered that we have to still endure the likes of this nonsense in America but to go to a restaurant where I pay to eat I should not have to be subjected to this type of ignorance. Needless to say, I am quite frustrated.
I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. Because I do not want to spend any more time on this problem,
I expect a full refund. I will be informing my friends and family about this experience. Possibly the newspaper if I do not get some type of formal letter of apology.

no shoneys – After you complain to the main office,service gets better! i ate here for 3 mo. last summer. i found the place like the others said. After icomplained to the main company i got a lot better service. as for manager.you have to know how to deal with her.i got real good service after i complained. i told other friends of mine to eat here. they all told me the place was awful so i tell them to eat at one of the other place i went to.
I will not eat here again. I agree with everything starving woman said. The worst Shoney's I have ever eaten in. The service is terrible. The food was passable, just barely and the place could use a good cleaning.
Bad experience – There are 100 other restaurants in this city, you might want to avoid this one. I was there on a Thursday evening, the food was ok nothing to brag about. It is the service that is the major problem. The worst I have had in a long time. The servers do not come to check if everything is ok, they do not refill your drinks unless you run them down . The manager is a very unprofessional and rude woman, she is either unable or unwilling to deal with the many problems.
