Great Place! – I keep going back here every week because of all the great deals and new items. It has something for everyone of all ages. I can't wait to shop for the holidays there!
Yay Antiques – Today was my first time at this Antique Mall, and they had an abundance of real antiques! I enjoyed looking at everything they had, and their prices were extremely reasonable! The service was great, and they even gave my crabby 3 year old some popcorn. They were very helpful in helping us find anything we needed, and even helped carry our items to the front counter while we continued to shop.
There was no big fuss over the "no bags/purses" issue, as when I walked in I had my purse and was ready to check it at the front counter, and I asked if they wanted to take it while I shopped, and I was politely told that I could keep my purse. There was not one rude employee there.
I was very happy with my visit and am definitely going to go back again!
Hit-and-miss for both service and merchandise – I have been to this antiques mall several times and have had both good and bad service. They are very rude about the no-purse policy, I've even seen them treat customers in a belittling way when they don't know about the policy.
But sometimes you can find some really great items, so it's worth checking out. I just leave my purse in the car and bring my wallet in. :)
Don't believe everything you read! – I made my first visit to Memories Antique mall yesterday. I had read the previous comment before going there. I couldn't have been treated better if I were at home. The two people working yesterday were some of the most cordial and helpful folks I have ever encountered in an antique mall. They went out of their way to answer questions, open cases, and point out some exceptional deals. As for the bag policy, it is clearly posted on the door as you come in. If you are in the Appleton area, find this place!!!! You wont be sorry. My only regret was not having more money to spend. A great collection, with something for every antique shopper. And some really great deals (check out the display case to the right of the door!) Hopefully the young lady from Tennessee will be there. I hope your visit is as great as mine was! I'm going back and very soon.
Best Antique Mall In Wisconsin – The lady who wrote the negitive review was the rudest person to ever enter the mall. Yes we have a oversize bag policy and she knew this before she entered the mall.
l have the surveillance tape maybe I should post a link to u-tube so she can see herself in action.
Worst antique experience ever – I visited Memories Antique Mall in mid-October 2007 with a large group of friends, nearly all women. Upon entering the mall, we were informed that we had to check all of our purses. When several of us expressed concern about this, we were told, very rudely it was mall policy and HAD to be done. As I started to ask why, I was told again it was mall policy and if I did not like it, I could go sit in the bus to wait for my friends. Others in my group were told the same thing. I can understand such a policy, as sadly the world is going to the dogs, but to have no explanation other than it was mall policy, was horrendously rude. Here was a group of people, with a ton of cash to SPEND, and we were treated VERY POORLY. Out of 40+ people, only two people bought anything. With such poor management, I can see why there are so many empty dealer booths. I think this mall may be on its way out of business. It was a VERY BAD experience.
