Awww you gotta love this "throw back" bowling alley. How can you not love a bowling alley that has a bar with "elves / trolls" on a mural in the bar?

Sure, there are fancier bowling alleys but Cambrian Bowl keeps things REAL!

cambrian bowl. I have only bowled for a couple of years here but the time i have bowled its been great. They are family orientated and the front desk gals are really nice. My wife decided to put our grandson in the pee wee league and the lady that runs that is not the sharpest tool in the shed so we pulled him out. The only complaint i have is who ever runs that league has no idea what social skills are especially with kids. Other than that i feel this is a great place to bowl and bring yyour family on your own time. The staff is polite and always willing to help.

Cambrian Bowl. I've been bowling at Cambrian for years. Everyone is so courtesy (even the owner says Hi). The bowling establishment is a little old but very clean. The french fries are excellent. I've found that the employee's their are true professional at their jobs. The woman at the front desk (Marilyn) is very reliable, courtesy and helpful. If I was an owner of a business she would be the first one I would hire because you can always count on her. It's a great place to bowl and the prices their are very affordable.

cambrian bowl. cambrian bowl can be a fun place to go to. friday & saturday night they play music. why don't they play music on the other nights?

I see some things never change.

I have had some problems with the front desk day person. It seems she can do no wrong. If I had a empolyee with that additude, she would be fired.

Is she relatived to some one who works there?

Is it that hard to find someone to stand there & ring in customers, and be nice. It looks like we are interruping her sitting. and what ever you do, don't let your children go to her unattended. she is rude to them.

the other lady must be her mom, as she protects her when ever you have a negative question. It's like momma bear to the rescue. then when you walk away, feeling like Sh_t, you hear them laughing. If I have a question about any thing, I would think they are there to HELP. what a concept.

they also degrade their empolyee's in front of customers...what a power trip they have.

I guess I'll spend my money else were.

Cambrian Bowl. This bowling ally is pretty old, being that my parents bowled here in the early seventies. But it certainly has a wonderfull atmosphere and for the most part friendly employees. Only encountered one small problem when i went with my little brother once during the day. He had some discounted passes given to him through his school, the extremely rude lady that was working did her best to make us feel very uncomfortable as if we had put her out. After confronting her she let me know that she did'nt feel like honoring them any more, and that the schools did'nt pass them out correctly. The other two employes behind her the whole while just scowled as if they wanted to give us a piece of their minds too! So i recommend going in the evening when the younger group are working they seem to be much more respectfull and not so intent on being rude to people or making them feel unwelcome.... the rude people work from opening until about 4 oclock

Best bowling value in the Bay. I love this bowling alley for a multitude of reasons-- It's incredibly cheap if you come on the right night. Check to make sure, but i think that mon-thu after 9pm its something like 2 bucks a game or something ridiculous like that. Despite this great deal, there's never a wait for lanes. Also, they play KFOX classic rock radio on the house speakers all day every day so you don't have to suffer through some 14 year-old girl's jukebox selection while you bowl. The crowd is the usual mix of creepy old guys who are awesome at bowling and giggling preteens who aren't.

Don't let the somewhat dilapidated appearance fool you, this place is a bowler's paradise. With 32 lanes, a well-appointed pro shop and various leagues, tournaments and other events, this bowling alley has something for everyone. If you're sick of rolling gutter balls, you can drown your sorrows in the cocktail lounge, which, from 9:00pm-1:00am every Saturday night, turns into a karaoke lounge.
