A classic Wisconsin Supper Club. It's inconspicuous, but well worth it. The cocktails are made well, the bar is large and comfortable and the place just went smoke-free. The dining room IS dimly lit, but that's what Wisconsin Supper Clubs are about. The place is very clean and well kept, the prime rib and steaks are to die for, the lobster tail is wonderful, the staff are all friendly locals who know their stuff. The Nightengale has become a regular in our dining repertoire. They also serve fresh hot bread and a nice salad, and have great perch and whitefish on the menu.

unbeatable steak and seafood. My family takes numerous trips up to door county throughout the year, and we ALWAYS go to the Nightengale for dinner everytime. Their filet is outstanding; melts in your mouth. My favorite is the two tails of lobster plate. By far the best I've had in the state; and at an extremely affordable price compared to dining in the city (milwaukee). We always go early too for happy hour; outstnading old fashions and a delicious cheese and cracker buffet with various spreads. Check this place out for a Great Meal with friends or just a night out with the spouse.

Get there early on Thurday and Friday nights.. The best prime rib you are going to find. It is the special on Thursday nights. The bar is comfortable if you have to wait awhile.
