I had fun but wouldn't go again-- Noah's Ark is better.
My overall rating is "meh. I had fun but wouldn't go again." If you're going for the waterpark, I recommend going to Noah's Ark instead-- more rides, less hassle, and shorter lines.
They really only have 4 rollercoasters and all of them are wooden-- both me and my partner left the rides with headaches. Pegasus by far was my favorite. I wish they had some steel or other kinds of roller coasters as those are smoother.
They have several different go-kart tracks. The Trojan Horse had about a 1 hour line, so I didn't even try for that one. Hermes had a really short line, so I went on it about 5 times. It doesn't go up on different levels, but was still a blast-- and I got more bang for my buck since I didn't spend as much time waiting in lines (maximum 15 minutes, on a Saturday).
Their indoor theme park is a waste of time except for the bumper cars.
Their indoor water park has a few slides. For some reason, there is a tube shortage in this park. You will wait by the exit for the slides for 10 minutes before you ever get a tube.
Their outdoor waterpark is... ok. The lines for most of the slides are at least twice as long as the lines at Noah's Ark. And the tubes? Where are they? But once you got on, the slides were fun. Short, but fun.
They have a normal wave pool, with a 5-minute period of waves and then a 5-minute period without waves, but they roped it off at 4 feet deep, which means that it was 2x as crowded.
Their second wave pool is called Poseidon's rage, and it sent out one giant tsunami-like wave every 2 minutes. It was unique and fun.
Their lazy river had the dumbest setup I could ever imagine. On most lazy rivers, you walk in at one of the entrances and then position yourself into your tube and continue. Self-policing seems to work well at other parks-- why did this park decide to change it? I have no idea. I tried to go in at one staircase-- "No, this is an exit only." Oh, ok. They require you to have a tube, so again I waited at the exit while little kids cut in line and after about 5 minutes I finally got a tube. Ready to go in the lazy river, right? Think again! Instead of letting you just go in, they have a lifeguard at the top of the staircase who holds your tube while you get in. I'm 26-- I can get into an innertube on my own just fine. But since she has to do this for every person, there is a huge backup just to get in to the lazy river. Yes, you actually have to wait in line to get into the lazy river. What a stupid system. Oh, and the water in June is frigid, because they don't heat the lazy river like Noah's Ark and other waterparks.
I had fun but Noah's Ark was better.
Water-park fans find major convenience at this anything-but-deserted isle..
The Scene
Staying here allows you free access to the Family Land and Bay of Dreams water parks; it's the main drive of the resort. Having indoor and outdoor water-park facilities, Treasure Island offers year-round fun. But if you are looking for more, the location is convenient to other Wisconsin Dells attractions.
The Details
The water parks are very extensive in variety and size. Each of the 240 rooms available is provided with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and television. Three different restaurants on the facilities keep the tummy full, while three gift shops keep the wallet less full. Kids can also tap into one of the four arcades.
