Skills good, customer service fair at best. I took my daughter to this salon as part of a mom-daughter day. I chose it mainly because it was open on Sunday, which was appreciated. Upon entering the salon, the receptionist was friendly. We had to wait about 5-10 minutes before a young woman appeared to ask if we'd been helped. This ended up being the technician who did our services. I was getting a pedi - my daughter a mani and pedi. My daughter went first.

The technician said barely two words to her the entire time. This did not appear to be someone who enjoyed her job; and maybe she didn't - but your clients shouldn't know that. My daughter was only 10 and was excited for this experience - not so after. When her toenails were drying and I sat down, she questioned if I had other services that day. I said my daughter was getting a mani, but I was only doing the pedi. She commented that the mani should have gone first so the nails could dry, as if this was my doing! I commented I only made the appt - she said, yes, the receptionist should have known this. Again, your client doesn't need to hear this.

It turned out I had a plantar wart on my foot I thought was only a callous. She commented that "normally we don't do feet that have warts; but since I've already started I'll do it." I understand the policy, I truly do, but there was a much more tactful way to communicate this.

Again, the talk was minimal - no conversation from her. When I was finished and my daughter started her manicure (with a much friendlier technician, thankfully) the original technician asked me if I wanted something to drink (isn't this usually done before your service is completed? Well at least she asked.). I asked for coffee - she came back and said sorry, no coffee had been made that day. To her credit, she later came back with coffee she had made.

I paid $105 for these services, and I did tip 15%, because the quality of the actual nail service was good. But normally I would do 20% or more - I just felt like for a spa/salon, and having been to others, the customer service aspect was sorely lacking. I go to a spa for the total experience - otherwise I could do my nails at home.

I would not return to this salon. They took my e-mail address so I thought they would be asking for my comments on my experience which I would be glad to share, but so far nothing.

Editorial Review. In addition to massage and skin treatments, state-of-the-art spa also has waxing and tanning.

I have been waiting for a spa like this!. This spa is now in the Princeton Club, and I am so glad that I found it! They offer a great range of services, but the couple's package and the European facial were my favorite! I haven't found a couples' massage in town before I found Oasis. It was so fun to to get a massage in the same room as my husband!

I also haven't had such a thorough facial before. My skin was glowing!

Everyone there was professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it!
