Very professional instrument repairs. Steve Schoene at Schmitt Music has been repairing and adjusting my saxophones & my flute for 30-40 years. During my days in Milwaukee, he was the guy that all the pros went to when they needed work on their horns. He is a saxophonist, a tool and dye maker, and a woodwind repairman, and he brings a level of precision to the work that one seldom sees elsewhere. And his prices are reasonable. When I lived in Milwaukee, it was worth the drive to Racine to get this quality of work done. Now that I live in Madison, it is still worth it.…

They suck you into an expensive long term contract and then milk you further if ever a simple repair is needed. Their customer service is very poor - their belief is the instrument will never have an issue and any issue is clearly a students fault.…
