Great choices! So fresh!

by chloeluvsushi at Citysearch

New Garden is such a great place to eat, - especially with family or groups! The menu is fabulous, the ingredients are always fresh, and I've never had a bad experience there. Do watch out for weekends related to the WSU campus, like mom and dad's weekends. New Garden will be PACKED.

My favorite items are the miso soup, the eggflower soup, the chow mein, and veggies! So fresh! The lemon chicken is also really good. Great prices!

Best Food Ever!

by salgal80 at Citysearch

I worked here my senior year in college at WSU and not only are the owners and all the staff, some of whom are relatives, wonderful, the food is the best. I have tried nearly everything on the menu, and although I am a bit picky, there is hardly anything I don't like. There's food for every taste, whether you are looking for sweet, spicy, fresh and greasy. The prices are also very reasonable, with lunch plates offered all day.

I ate food from New Garden almost every day and I never got tired of it. I love their potstickers, orange beef, Peiking porkchop and hot & sour soup (made my way!). It was one of my most favorite jobs because the people and food were so great. They still welcome me as if I were family every time I go back.

If you're in town, you have to try this!

  • Pros: Great food, fast service, great staff
  • Cons: Gets very busy during event weekends (i.e. mom's weekend)
