Great food on a budget. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and sides at a great price. Tavern atmosphere with an outside fenced patio/beer garden. During the two years I went to school there I probably ate there once a week, and on a student's budget I could manage it. The food is tasty fare in decent portions. The Tav - One of The Best. I had the good fortune of living in Ellensburg for 10 years and got to eat here often. Their specialty burger is called "The Supermother" and it is one of the best. I toured the U.S. with different music groups and sampled cuisine from coast-to-coast and this is one of the best burgers you'll find anywhere. The fries are also always crisp and hot too.
