Wonderful place to stop!. My husband (who is a vegetarian) and I stopped here on the way from Seattle to Missoula and we were very impressed! The food is very elegant, the service is outstanding and the atmosphere is quaint and homey. For this type of food you would expect to pay twice as much. We asked if we could take a menu with us so we could spread the word around Montana and Seattle. This is by far the best place to eat between Seattle and Montana.

Great place to stop in the valley. The Valley Cafe has been one of my favorite stops for the past 30 years. The ownership is the same and it has survived because of the location in a nice college town. It is an alternative to the "cowboy" atmosphere of Ellensburg. The food is original, fresh, organic when possible, and delicious. A great place to eat if you are looking for more choice than a hamburger or steak.
