Great work!. My car has never ran as good as it has after a visit to Hawks. They took great care of the car and do so at a reasonable rate. The problems I brought it in for were all taken care of. There were some recommendations for future repairs but no attempt to scare me into getting it all done now. I was very happy with my entire experience.

nice people. They took care of the car and didnt take advantage of the fact that I may not know all that much about cars. The repair was done at a reasonable cost and they were very courteous whenever I dealt with them.

THE best. I have had my car in twice for 2 different problems. Both times they took great care of me. They stick to the problem and don't try to charge for extra work. They have pointed out some things that will require attention in the near future and I do appreciate that concern for my safety.

Good Service. Everything went fine with the repairs on my dodge, the charges for the parts and labor seemed fair enough, and I was lucky enough to get the Senior discount which really helped me financially. I hope that I do not have any more car troubles, but if I do I will go back to Hawks Prairie.

Thanks again!. No bad experiences here at all! My family always has had me deal with shops whenever their cars brake down. I always bring them here and they do a great job. Time and time again the car is fixed reliably and accurately.

Very nice!. I was recommended here by a friend who said the place was very honest and nice. I found them to be very helpful as well. They took care of my car and there is no problem at all now. Very happy with the work.

Great shop!. This is a great shop with honest mechanics that have a great deal of experience and know how. They take care of the problem and dont make repairs that are not required or requested. good, honest mechanics are hard to come by these days and I found several here.

SCAMMERS~~~. I would never reccomend going to Hawk's Prairie Automotive...ever! We were quoted nearly $1000 to put in a part on my husband's car and when calling around, we found out that the part HPA was charging us $900 for, cost $338.99 from Auto Zone. That's right folks...nearly $600 for NO reason at all!!! Considering the $260 charged just for looking at the car and towing it, plus $1000 dollars = $1260. OR $338.99 for the part, $88 for labor (looking it up on my step dad's computer he used for his own shop, this job would take 9/10's of an hour to complete labor wise and HPA charges $88 and hour for labor) + $260 for towing and diagnostic = $687.00. WHAT A DIFFERENCE?!

Needless to say, we are not getting our car fixed at Hawk's Prairie Automotive.

On top of ALL of that, we got our bill for the tow and diagnostic and our total comes to $360!!! So we told them, no, we weren't paying that much. And they did realize the mistake and fixed it, but really, how much money do you need to steal from your customers? THEN my husband called them on a Friday and told them we would pick the car up on Monday...we got there Monday and guess what?? The car's dash is still pulled out from them doing their diagnostic...

Oh well that we had to find someone to tow our car (because we weren't paying them another $60 to tow our car back to our house which is a block away) and take time off of work. Now we need to re-arrange our plans AGAIN for whenever they can seem to get the job done right.

This place is a total let down...I hope they change their ways...soon. It makes me sick to my stomach to think of how many other people have been ripped off. Do your homework people...call around before letting Hawk's Prairie Automotive touch your car.

Untrustworthy Shop. We brought our car into this shop to have a radiator leak fixed. We walked away paying over $800.. and still had a leak! In fact, it was worse than it was when we brought it in! To top it all off, this shop told us that our front brakes were under 20% and that we need to bring it back within the month to be safe. We took it to Les Schwab and were told that we have over 60% left on the front brakes! Beware of this shop. They do shotty work and overcharge you! Run away!!
