With a distinct aura of urban health club, most of this spa is communal space. While friends obviously enjoy sharing the facilities, the steamy water-based area feels like a slightly upscale locker room-lots of nudity; lots of scrubbing; scents of chlorine mixed with the mugwort. The dry heat rooms are mellower, often silent, and offer truly cozy relaxation as the infrared heat and warm herbal scents seep into your body.

The Services
Facials and body moisturizers are given with totally natural materials-fresh cucumber, honey, olive oil, and aloe vera. All treatments are technically excellent, but are more vigorously therapeutic than flat-out relaxing. Scrubs and moisturizers are done in a communal space, while massages and paraffin treatments are private. All of the pools, saunas, and rooms are accessible without an appointment; add on additional services and the appropriate therapist will come and find you in a timely manner.
