SAVE YOUR MONEY, INSTEAD OF RENTING FROM THIS PLACE!!. we really needed a table ASAP, considering the holidays were around the corner, WE should have never rented from this place, the people were nice... but then after that, IF YOU WERE a DAY LATE, they blow the crap out of your phones, then it works down the list, they call ALL of your references, and then THE BOSS and if YOURE MILITARY, YOU definitely don't want a talk with your sup.... AND THEY WILL COME TO YOUR HOUSE... THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!.... SAVE YOUR MONEY TO BUY WHAT YOU NEED, I DONT EVEN, wanna give this place any stars, NEGATIVE FOR ME!!!

A stressful headache waiting to happen!!. We were strapped for cash and needed a washer/dryer. I did my research before I entered the store and knew exactly what I wanted. Everyone was nice up front, and they did okay by us....

Three months later we weren't even LATE on our payment. We owed them by the 30th, and it was only the 15th. They called us EVERY DAY asking for payment and threatening to take our things. Even after we had worked out a payment plan and agreed to it, they continued to call. They then informed me that if I was even ONE DAY LATE from that point on, they would come to retrieve our washer/dryer without warning. They threatened to call my husbands boss, some of our relatives... and basically tell our references and contact numbers that we were dishonest ppl. I was FURIOUS.

We returned our things the following month and bought new. It's not worth the hassel....

**SCARY**BEWARE**. Rent a center should be avoided, at least this one employee who came to my home. I had a very bad experience with the driver of the store in Lakewood, one of the worst experiences in my life. This man came to my home, pounded on my door, yelling my name loudly! He entered my home as soon as i opened the door without my permission or asking. He immedietly began an argument and took over my home as though i had no rights. He told me he has the right to do so, raising his voice.

He did not give me his name but he was a very tall, somewhat large man with glasses who spoke harshly. He claimed he had full permission by the company managers to do what he was doing, telling me that it was company policy. He instilled fear into me which was not neccessary. I was obliging and pleasant. I simply asked some basic questions about the nature of this visit, which he refused to answer. I was afraid for my safety; It was very scary!!

He would not leave when i told him to. What he told me about my contract was inacurate, but he tried to persuade me otherwise. I knew what he was saying was false but he continued to argue with me, so I told him i wanted to speak with someone else. He would not oblige but was disruptive so i asked him to leave again which he would not do until he saw me reaching for the phone.

He would not stop harrassing me even after I got him to leave, knocking on my door, looking through my window and calling me. This was not policy but a misuse of his postion. He tried to convince me i had done something against policy. I have been recovering from surgery and this experience was very traumatic.

I was taken off guard by this bizzare behavior. Renting from Rent a center was a very bad mistake. It is not worth this kind of hassle or disruption. I will tell others to avoid this rent a center at all cost! *BEWARE*

Terrible! Will never go there again!. I went to the town center RAC in Lakewood real recently and there was a sales guy who works there that was a total turn off. He was trying to get me to rent things i didn't want. He wasted alot of my time talking about things i could care less about and wouldn't let me get the hell out of there> real pushy big bald guy who thought he was a real bigshot. He talked to me like i was an idiot. Totally rude!!

I didn't want to rent from RAC after going there that day. Real turn off!

Households on a budget lease their home furnishings, appliances and consumer electronics from this rental emporium.. In Short
Nesters who aren't yet ready to pony up for big-ticket household merchandise head to this rental facility for domestic goods ranging from stylish living-room sets and state-o-the-art refrigerators to home-entertainment "necessities" such as flat-screen TVs, gaming systems and laptop computers. Customers can choose to pay monthly and return the equipment at any time--or they can opt for the rent-to-buy option, where ownership is gained at the conclusion of an agreed-upon rental period.
