In Short – A strip-mall mainstay throughout U.S. suburbs, this buffet-style restaurant caters to ravenous families who pay a flat per-head fee for all the comfort food they can chow down. Serving stations present everything from fried chicken to shrimp scampi, macaroni and cheese to steamed veggies. A do-it-yourself dessert bar allows diners to make their own sugary indulgence from a supply of brownies and cakes, syrupy toppings and multiple flavors of soft-serve ice cream.

Mediocre at best

If open trays of lukewarm cafeteria food are your idea of eating out, this is the place for you. If you aren't over the age of 60 or have a family of 6 to feed, there really is no reason for you to be here unless you love the taste of canned green beans.
