In Short
This Cajun-style fast food restaurant first opened in New Orleans in 1972 and has since achieved domestic and international fame for its flavorful mild and spicy chicken. In addition to the storied buttermilk biscuits, seafood menu items range from fried popcorn shrimp and shrimp snack "Craver Paks" to chicken sausage jambalaya, catfish baskets and shrimp etouffee. More festive Louisiana regional fare--think red beans and rice, and Mardi Gras cheesecake--rounds out the menu.

I discovered Popeye's chicken about 10 years ago when they first came to the Seattle area. I am glad to see that the franchise is doing well and growing. The standars set by the main company are adhered to very well, so when I go to any Popey's the quality is highly consistant. The Popey's on Foet Lewis is no exception. The service was great and the restraunt was clean and bright. The men and women seving in the Army are lucky to have such a great franchize on base!
