Beauty and rudeness don't go together. Being a new client of the Salon a few years ago, I decided to follow my stylist Shey to the new location that opened up on proctor as it was in my neighborhood. With numerous trips back to the salon to have hair cuts fixed and Grey coverage redone, I was received each and everytime with attitude and rudeness from the girls at the desk and the stylist.

after a year of salon abuse, and 150.00 every six weeks, i spent the next several months salon hopping trying to find someone to do my hair. Is it really that difficult????

without much luck, i decided to give the fircrest location another shot and perhaps another stylist. I loved my stylist brittnay, but the mistake this salon made was making a call center that takes appointments for all stylists... and where is the call center?? YES!! the proctor salon, where the girls are rude, bitchy, and need lessons in how to not let your beauty go straight to your head. There is nothing worse than a stuck up 20 something year old, throwing attitude to someone who could be her mother. It is with disappointment but not regret I leave Brittnay! as of today, I divorced my salon, because I was browbeaten by the girls again today, when I called to see if my stylist had a cancelation. I asked to be transferred to the Fircrest salon ( as i have been instructed to do by the girls at the fircrest salon as they get complaints I was told out the rude receptionists at proctor).. and they refused to do so and asked "who is this"? Are you kidding me? After a long hold, the owner Toby, gets on the phone to tell me, I am rude to her girls. needless to say, i reminded her the reason I left there in the first place, and she claims her girls are trained properly. hmmmmmmmm???? Humility and kindness go along way, but I refuse to take rudeness from the salon I go to and why should I feel bad about calling it out? I don't.. I divorced my Salon! I am sure there will be others who will be glad to be less bitchy and happier to be kind.

love it!. I was in the salon the other day for a much needed color and cut. My stylist Topie was amazing. She gave me alot of tips on styling and product to calm my crazy hair. I love my cut and the color is so wonderful. I wont go any where else!

LOVE IT!. Great atmosphere, products, service and stylist. I see Stacy and she is absolutely fabulous! My hair now rocks. Really great prices for such high quality service.

Best Salon&Spa in Tacoma. I've been going to foxfire since 2006, and I must say it's a great salon & spa!!!! I've gotten massages there and haircuts, and I always left the building satisfied. I love to go there with my mother and she loves the place as well. Since out first visit, we never quit going and we always fnd outselves going back! Just recently my mother was complaining how past haircut experiences went bad and she never was satisfied. However, I made an appointment at foxfire and my mom was sooo suprised after she got her cut, and it was the first time someone cut her hair the exact way she wanted it. So yeah, whoever is thinking of going to the place, I highly reccommed it, and the aveda products are great!!!! The staff, atmosphere, location, everything, i rate 5 stars!!!!

Stained Clothes, Rude Service, Bad Color/Cut, Cute Inside. When I arrived to get a simple cut and color I was greeted by friendly staff. I was introduced to Rachel, who would be doing my service. During the visit she complained about past salons she had worked at and told me she was sick that day.

I asked for caramel highlights and ended up with my entire upper section yellow. She curled my hair as my 'style', so the next day I was shocked by the HORRIBLE cut and color job. Plus my sweatshirt was stained on my shoulders!

I called management and was told to research how much a replacement sweatshirt would be and they would give me my money for a new sweatshirt. When I went into the salon to discuss, the manager gave me less than what it would cost for a new sweatshirt. I asked for her to look at the cut and her response was, 'I would not have done the cut like that.' I asked for a touch-up and she rolled her eyes, but got a great stylist, Chris.

Chris fixed me up and was super nice. I will not go back, even though I really liked Chris and would trust a cut/color from her.

Excellent Spa and Salon!. I have had a tough time locating a reasonably priced salon in the NW. Now I've found it! Foxfire is beautiful, their staff well trained and friendly. My hair stylist, Suzanne, listend to what I wanted and made excellent suggestions. Will happily return again!!

Great precision haircut and fabulous color. I have not been able to find a great place to get my hair cut in the Tacoma/Seattle area. I usually end up getting my haircut in Portland at the TIGI salon. I won't have to do that any more. Adam cut and foiled my hair. He was great! I love my new haircut and color. He spent a lot of time with me and was a pleasure to deal with. I really liked the atmosphere at the salon. Very elegant, but not stuffy or snooty. I will definitely be going back and telliing all my friends!
