Karaoke is hillarious. If you go on karaoke night, prepare for an evening of performances akin to to the reject episodes of American Idol. Thankfully, it doesnt seem that people take themselves too seriously, so I'm probably not hurting anyones feelings by saying you may be in for some big laughs. Fun times!

Dishonest Wait Staff. We were regulars - and we will never go back: A 'new' waitress decided to run a tab with out asking my husband or myself - we always pay cash for EVERY drink and food order. Later in the evening she approached us and insisted that we owed for two drinks that we were NOT served. Rather than argue ( "you were served alcohol and I am a sober waitress"...very convenient) we paid the bill and as we were leaving spoke with the bar manager. He insisted that we could not have been double charged after speaking with the older silver-haired waitress, ignoring the fact that the waitress placed an order on her computer but did NOT serve it, then claimed that we shorted her. The other Red-headed waitress who also served us confirmed that we had paid cash for every order. The older, silver haired waitress with the braided hair (who lied about our bill) completely forgot an order of food so we ordered from the Red-headed girl who got it right and also spoke with the bar manager on our behalf. He stood behind the dishonest waitress instead of respecting his customers. Buyers beware!!! The waitress who stole from us was well tipped for services NOT RENDERED.

Monday Night Football Heaven. Get there early if you want a table for the games! The food here is excellent, I like to order a smorgous board of appetizers. In years gone bye they have had 25c hotwings for the games, this year they have been replaced with "boneless wings". These are alright, but not as good as the traditional "bone in" wings. You can't go wrong with the popcorn shrimp for $2.99! They give away raffle tickets and disburse all kinds of promo schwag during the commercials & halftime. The waitresses are, for the most part, happy and efficient. TVs are everywhere and there are enough to have other events on without taking away from the main event. Just a great neighborhood bar for hanging out with friends and watching the game.

A favorite on 6th Ave!. When I was going to school at UWT (University of Washington Tacoma) we were sorely lacking a variety of places to grab something to eat for lunch. I heard that the West End was a bit of a drive from campus, but after my first time trying their quesadillas, I was hooked. I have been going there regularly for about 3 years and it is someplace I take everyone looking for a good time that also involves great food. I have never played the tabs, but I hear there are lots of winners. The service is consistently good and on the weekends, its a great place to be if you like to see people you know or meet new people. I would recommend the chicken quesadillas, the philly cheese steak or the cheeseburger. No matter what you order, you're guaranteed to be happy!

Go for the food. My husband and I go to the west end for the food, which is excellent and CHEAP! The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed, but not deserted. Never been there on a weekend.

The Place To Be!. The West End Pub & Grill has a great menu ranging from sirloins to 24 oz. Prime Rib, great salads, and delicious appetizers! The night life during the week is mellow, but the weekends are packed! With karaoke starting on Wednesday nights, the weekend gets started early. It's a central location on 6th Avenue, so it's easy to find. Service is quick and always with a smile. Pull Tabs are #1 in the state, so there is always a winner!
