I had heard many times about this place & their excellent pizza. I LOVE MY PIZZA so decided to finally try it. I ordered and had it delivered. Man oh man, this stuff is good. Flavorful, lots of sauce, stringy cheese which you just can't find on pizza anymore. The crust is so different than any I have had....wonder what they do to it??? It was a fairly thin crust and was kinda chewy-crunchy. Toppings & sauce all the way to the crust & lots of toppings. 2 pieces filled me up!!! Can't say anything about the inside of the tavern but you just have to try the pizza. I would highly recommend trying it and deciding on your own.

I grew up in Tacoma, now living in Spokane. Eating Cloverleaf pizza @ my house was the special night out food, it was the absolute best. But none of you know what it's like to be 27 now, and not close enough to get it whenever I want. Spokane has NOTHING in comparison to Cloverleaf, people who bash cloverleaf are just jealous of us with good taste. Try frisco freeze for awesome burgers out there too. Right by the hospital and washington park near downtown. miss you tacoma!
