Enchanted Southern Delight

I've thought about eating at Porter's a few times as I typically stay at the hotel next door on business. Now that I finally decided to try it, I wish I had eaten there long ago. It's definitely my new favorite Tacoma restaurant. The Gumbo was very tasty and was full of well seasoned seafood and tender chicken wings. The portion was larger that I expected, it was a full bowl and could be a meal in and of itself even though it's on the starter menu. The beef ribs were a good sized portion with big tender flavorful meaty chunks (I had the lunch size portion). The sauce was amazing; very mild for North-Westerners like me, yet very zesty. It kept my taste buds dancing, and was like eating Enchanted Turkish Delight, the more I ate, the more I wanted. I will definitely be back again and again. I highly recommend this place.
