What People Are Saying About The Old Spaghetti Factory

In Short – Whimsical antiques and decorative items--velvet armchairs, vintage-looking fringed lamps and booths made from iron bedsteads--fill the dining room. The OSF Classics menu offers spaghetti with a choice of mushroom sauce, rich meat sauce, browned butter and feta-like mizithra cheese sauce, and more. Other popular favorites are the baked lasagna--layers of noodles, tomato sauce and four kinds of cheese--and the fettuccine Alfredo. Meals include a green salad, fresh-baked bread and ice cream.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- The kids' menu includes smaller-portioned versions of spaghetti dishes, as well as macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese.
- Look Good:
- Watching your waistline? Ask your server about the low-carb pasta option.
Good food, great price

Great family enviroment! great value, you get your meal, salad, bread, drink, and spumoni ice cream, and the avg price is around $10 person, kids meals are only $5, same as a happy meal. be prepared for a wait on the weekends, but its worth it. been there 40 years for a reason.
what is that, angel hair in my pasta? uh uh, it's from Tacoma Rescue Mission!

there are no words to describe the grossness of this place. Over the years it has always has bad food and service as it has been a magnet for waiters and cooks fired from other places like IHOP and Denny's. Often you will find hair in your salad, the entres aren't cooked and the waiters regularly pour their saliva into water and food, you can even see them doing this as you walk back to the bathroom. Liquid bowel movements are always complementary with every meal and they will charge you for your napkin, drink glass and the lice-infested, vintage 1900 armchairs you are forced to sit on the edge of in fear of an STD.
Needless to say, if you still go here after reading something like this then you are probably a candidate for the darwin awards.
- Pros: leaving
- Cons: leaving (yes, be scared!)

I can't see how someone would say anything negative about the OLF!! They are awesome. Yes, I agree the wait is long, but you get good food: unlimited bread, salad, your meal and ice cream all for one low price. The OSF is better than any others of its kind (like Cucina Squared, and the Olive Garden). The servers are the friendliest in town.
The only downside is parking, they need a bigger lot, and the street is pretty dark at night.
The Old lets wait around Factory

I for some reason I get fooled again and again to try The Old Spaghetti Factory one more time. I was fortunate to have the Lynnwood site open a couple of years ago. Thinking, no more drives to downtown. But Wait Wait Wait Wait...poor service, food that you could make yourself...endless free pop....maybe when the waiterpersons arent planning an afterwork Keg Party, stale bread, uncomfortable seats and a team of softball players at the table next to you and your family. I leave hungry and remember the days when you could get a table at Buca de Bepos.
- Pros: Ambience
- Cons: no parking, crowded, nothing special
Should be number #1

Always good, long lines mean good food! Never a dissappointment. Always a must for out-of-state visitors.
- Pros: good food, reasonable prices, leave stuffed
- Cons: always crowded, noisy
