No advance reservation allowed?. I planned to take my wife to dinner and thought Red Lobster could be a great place. So I called to make advance reservation so we dont have to waste our time waiting in line. Well, i wasted my time already making a phone call. They said they dont take reservations. Really? It should have been our first try with Red Lobster and hoping it to be our weekend dinner destinations and it was a bad experience already.

Once was enough. My husband and I went here for dinner tonight. I was in a seafood mood. I got the rock lobster it looked wonderful. My husband ordered the crab lovers trio. Both of our dishes tasted like clorine. Mine was so bad I couldn't even eat it, and it was overcooked. The salads we got with dinner were horrible. So $90.00 later... Im still hungery, and will never go back.

Casual crustacean-inspired chain serves up diet-defying seafood dishes in a family-friendly environment.. In Short
Live lobsters wriggle in a tank inside this seafood emporium, where nautical-patterned booths and colorful, fish-shaped tables in the bar area add subdued touches of whimsy to the room's classy dark wood accents. The menu can be downright decadent, with starters of artichoke lobster dip, seafood fondue, and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Entrees feature lighter, grilled fare like mahi-mahi and North Atlantic sea scallops, along with signature lobster dishes, snow crab legs, and jumbo fried shrimp platters.

Uneven, great one day and terrible the next.. I have had the best most delicious tender lobster that I have every had; and I have had overcooked, water logged, overly salted crab legs. Mostly the meals are well prepared and I have been very pleased with the food and the service. By the same token, when it is bad, it is very bad! I like to be positive and hopeful that a great cook and the friendly service is waiting for me--I always tell the server that I would like the speak to the manager--I want the people doing a good job to be rewarded more than I want the bad cook to be punished. They need to look at the problem of uneven service and food prep. They don't need to improve, they just need to all be as good as they can be. They would then run the competition ou of town

Red "Robster". We were extremely dissapointed when we had lunch at the Red Lobstor. The seafood we ordered, prawns, stuffed sole, and scallops, were fishy tasting, overcooked, and looked like something that came out of a can. The deep fried prawns had been overcooked in stale oil. The "fresh garden salad" obviously came out of a bag. The only saving grace was the New York Steak. Don't let the commercials on T.V. fool you! Save your money!
