Beautiful Tranquility. I have not actually stayed here, but I went out for a photoshoot, and the property is just amazing... The "caretaker" was great and very patient with us... I was a little sad I was unable to meet the innkeepers (Phillip and Cecilia) but my photographer booked a room with dinner right there on the spot... I cant wait to come back with my man to experience the 1930's charm again.

A stately waterfront mansion with exquisite views.. The Scene
In England or Europe, this property would no doubt be described as an estate. It features a 10,000-square-foot mansion and mature landscaped grounds surrounded by forest. Instead, it bows to its casual Kitsap Peninsula surroundings and humbly refers to itself as a country inn. Visitors can arrive by car, or they can boat in and tie up at the private pier.

The Details
This five-room inn has plenty of public spaces, including a library, great room and game room, each with its own fireplace. There's even a pub here, serving complimentary hot beverages, as well as a small theater with a big-screen television for watching movies. Sports fans beware, though--there's no TV reception up here. Meals are served each evening, but Saturdays are the highlight, featuring a four-course dinner.
