South Hill General Med Clinic

Unprofesional. I have never been treated so poorly. I recommend you read all reviews. My expierence is just one of many. Front desk coordinator was rude, unprofessional and unsympathetic and acted as if my being there was an inconvience to her. She refused to contact insurance company even though this clinic and the doctors are listed on the prefered providers list for coverage. While in exam room, changing into gown. Front desk coordinator burst into exam room without knocking, where I (the patient) was standing, undressed and she stood in the door way with the door open with her co-workers walking thru the hallways. I got dressed, and I left in tears because I was injured and being treated like a drug addicted felon, without being seen by a doctor. According to the recording they play while you are hold for this office, the staff is professional, sympathetic and they work with injuries all the time. This couldnt be farther from the truth. I would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone! All staff in doctors offices should be caring and helpful. They are there to help people, NOT to make them feel as if they are not worthy of medical care. This is by far the worst expierence I have ever had and warn against anyone using this clinic.…

Avoid At ALL Costs. Long wait. Diagnosis incorrect. Results of lab tests never sent until I finally called & asked for them. To top it all off. They used the physical address, which doesn't receive mail, even though it was written in big letters NO MAIL and provided the PO Box. Nobody apprently checked the file or called to verify the address.

So, now my 18-year-old daughter now has a ding against her credit for a stupid clerical error by South Hill General Med Clinic.

All her medical bills are paid by us (parents) and I have perfect credit. So, be warned---Your credit could get trashed due to their incompetency!…

South Hill General Medical Clinic. I have gone several times to these physicians and have never been disappointed or neglected. I was never on a time limit with talking to them. I have had other doctors and ended up going to this clinic with pneumonia. The doctor immediately knew what was wrong and within days I was better. They have always diagnosed me correctly. I believe the thing I like the most about these physicians is they work together and most of all they LISTEN TO ME!!! I feel being a woman that is so important.
