Not only does this restaurant have a romantic and relaxing ambiance.....but the service was friendly and very helpful. Khu Larb Thai is a small, family owned restaurant that has been open for over 15 years! My favorite was the Tofu with Cashew Nuts as well as the Fish with Black Bean Sauce...the fish is lightly fried in a rice flour and the light, gingery sauce is poured over the pieces of savory Cod....it was delightful!! Try the Khu Larb Special for an appetizer, it's a fried banana dish that can be eaten as either an appetizer or dessert! If you order it for dessert then order their special Coconut Ice Cream as well and have it with the bananas..mmmmmmmmmmm

• Pros: FOOD! and service!
• Cons: it gets a little crowded on the weekends, go a little earlier!

Authentic Thai food with great Thai atomosphere.

My wife and I spent a day in Port Townsend a week ago and stopped in at the Khu Larb Thai restaurant. Prompt seating, a pleasent atomosphere and great food was what we enjoyed on our visit. This restaurant is on a side street off the main drag and is definately worth consideration if you like Thai food. Very cool.

• Pros: Authentic Thai food and great ambience.
• Cons: Side street parking can be hard to find during busy times.

The food is exquisite, the atmosphere enjoyable, and the authenticity is fantastic. Don't miss the black bean pudding for dessert for ANYTHING.
