Best Food I have ever had!
by pikkinikki
I consider myself to be pretty familar w/ good food & have eaten at a variety of different places in different cities. The food here is superb. My husband & I went there on a Saturday night, definitely make reservations cuz it's very small, and we both had the special, a piece of salmon & halibut w/ a celery & root veggie sort of mashed potato that was rolled in panko. The fish was perfectly cooked. Everything is organic & you can definitely tell the difference. The mashed potato deal was delicious. the garnish even was so tasty & fresh. We had a fantastic bottle of wine & the desert, oh my. I had the trio of creme brulee. I can't even describe how good they tasted. Like no other creme brulee i have ever had. There is just the owner/chef in the kitchen w/ an "assistant" and one waitress w/ her "assistant". It's amazing what they can do w/ 4 people. The service was great, very sweet & personable waitress. The only bad part was they are closed on Sunday & we were going to make reservations. we were so bummed. But I definitely will be back the next time i am in Port Townsend.
- Pros: fresh food, all organic, delicious food, drink, company
- Cons: pretty small, but that sort of adds to the ambiance so not really a con

Nice counterpoint to the large, plastic clean eateries catering to tourists in this beautiful spot. Bacalao fishcake, organic beets salad, chocolate souffle, wine by the carafe: admirable treats for a small restaurant. All quite good, too. Will return for sure.
