Amazing View and Tasty Food

We went to the Boat Shed for our anniversary and the view was beautiful. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Skewers appetizer and it was perfectly cooked with a very tasty peanut sauce on the side. For our entree we both ordered steaks. They were very good but overpriced for what they were (Mine was $28 and my husband's was $29). That said, other items on the menu were far more reasonably priced. I probably wouldn't order the steak again because it is so pricey, but I definitely would come back to try other items on their menu. I'm not sure what they offer during happy hour, but they did advertise that they have a happy hour on their website. I suspect that it would be a good time to come in.
- Pros: Teriyaki Chicken Skewer Appetizer, Beautiful View
- Cons: Steaks are overpriced
Where is the beef!? Or rather.. where has it been?

I totally regret returning to the Boat Shed for dinner. The grey, stringy beef in both the salad and on the steak sandwich must have been boiled for a few hours in the pasta water. It was terrible! Thanks for collecting our untouched plates and not asking how we felt about our meal. I could tell nobody cared, from the moment the food came out of (we hope) the fridge to the time it was slid in front of us. Cocktails on the patio? Nice. Just don't bother with the greasy salads, dry sandwiches or deadly tough pale steak.
I wish they would hire real chefs.
- Pros: It was on the water.
- Cons: The service was only fair and the food was beyond gross.
What happened in the past year. BAD service

We walked out - had immediate seating inside on a warm day. Six of us waited with our menus and had picked out our meals, appetiezers, well drinks and finally got water. Waited. A couple was seated close by. A wait person started to walk in the the area we were seat in and saw a member of our party and said "hi" and then turned tail and walked out. Finally a waiter came in. Took the order of the couple seated at least 4 minutes after we arrived. Talked with the only other couple in the room about their bill, mentioned to us he would be right with us. Walked out and came in several minutes later. Asked us for our order and my hubby said "that's not right" and stated his displeasure that our order was not handled before the later arrival. The waiter blamed it on the staff not telling him we were in the room and said he would get the manager. We had not asked for a manager. He walked out of the room as I'm saying "you could at least get our order first" but he was gone. We walked out never to return again. Oh well, we saved $200. Spent $55 at Tony's Pizza off of Kitsap Way in Bremerton and had a wonderful meal and service.
- Cons: Service is bad
Killer view/Killer crab cakes!

You've gotta try this place out. Great food, drinks and service. The atmopshere is excellent as well. Enjoy sitting in the lounge, dining room or on the deck. One of the classiest dining place in Bremerton--by far.
- Pros: Crab cakes, the entire menu, good looking people
Great restaurant for making a memory

Just had dinner there tonight, and it was delightful. We even called my wife temporarily at Life Care Center to tell her what a great dinner, and my college buddy had plenty of halibut and salmon fettucini to bring home. I thought it was even better than before the fire. The tide pools swirl, the ferry travels by, and the whole atmosphere is beautiful. I think it is the finest restaurant overall that we have in Bremerton, and it is less than 2 miles from my home and also from the library where I work. My college buddy paid the whole bill, so I can't speak to the prices. I just say it is a special place to go for dinner that has consistently happy memories.
