Cozy comforts and a waterfront setting with the look of an old cannery..
The Scene
Construction materials such as weather-beaten wood and corrugated iron have been used to give this inn the appearance of an old cannery or one of the other buildings that inhabit its boatyard setting. But don't let this rustic first impression put you off--the interior tells an entirely different story.
The Details
Each high-ceilinged room showcases Eddie Bauer, Northwest-style, the focus of which is a bed on a raised platform so that guests can look out on the water as they wake. Rooms also have sitting areas and kitchens, for guests who like to settle in and make themselves at home. Town is just a short stroll away, the waterfront deck is perfect for watching passing kayakers and a cozy gas fireplace keeps away the chill. A location right on the beach affords views of the Cascade Mountains and Saratoga Passage during the day and the gentle sound of water lapping at the seawall at night.
