Do you feel lucky7?

I've been buying pizza's from Village Pizzeria for years. Usually there are decent people behind the counter, but there are a few who just don't care... On those days, I just take my pizza and beat a hasty retreat.
The last straw, however, was today. After looking at my half-baked pizza to go, I suggested that there really wasn't much spinach and perhaps they could add some more so it would live up to it's name of "Spinach & Feta". I was told by the young guy behind the counter that "it looks normal". Huh? Not "gee, let me see what I can do" but rather I was told to quit complaining and take it. I suggested that I've been buying the same pizza for 5 years, and no - it wasn't normal. ...to which I was told that he had worked there for 5 years and it was fine. Wow - I had heard from others on the island that they had similar issues, but this one really took the prize. I suggested to the young guy that he might want to consider "customer service" to which he told me to "get out of his restaurant". . (along with some other language that shouldn't be repeated here).
..and there you have it... I guess my luck had finally run out and that the word on the street was true - that Village Pizzeria is spotty at best. I feel bad for the owner who is a great guy, but he needs to either train his people better or hire better...
...so - do you feel lucky? You might have a good experience - or you might not. It depends on the day and who's behind the counter. Good luck!
- Pros: location
- Cons: OK pizza and inconsistent customer service
One of the best pies in Puget Sound

I whole-heartedly agree with the last reviewer. I am always on the hunt for the "perfect" New York or Italian thin crust slice of pizza. A few new high-end pizzerias have opened in Seattle (Tutta Bella, Via Tribunali, Serious Pie), and they are quite good, but I still think that Village is up there with the best. Whether you grab a 1/2 baked pie to take home or sit out on the lawn and eat your pizza with a million dollar view, you can't go wrong with this place!
- Pros: Outdoor seating in the summer, Fantastic salad dressing that you can buy
- Cons: Very small inside
Heaven on earth

I never would write one of these but the review I read was so off and completely ridiculous I had to. First off The Village Pizzeria is without question the best pizza I have ever had, whether it's a simple slice of pepperoni or a whole gourmet pie. Secondly the reviewer prior to me stated the Village Pizzeria was a rip off of the restaurant of the same title in San Francisco. Well it just so happens the owner of this Pizzeria in Langley founded the very same restaurant in San Fran, but later sold the rights to the new owner. So this is far from any sort of rip-off. The one thing the previous reviewer did get right was the sitting outside part, but not because the inside is "filthy" but because it is the best view Langley has to offer. Simply put ask anyone within a 25 mile radius of Langley, Wa and I guarantee they will tell you that The Village Pizzeria is the best pizza they have ever had and that anyone who tells you otherwise is an idiot.
