Great company -would do it again!

I can't say enough about how wonderful our kayak trip with Crystal Seas Kayaking was. They gave us great advice when planning and then gave us a great experience as well. My sister and I had so much fun. I will be back next summer for sure!!!

LOVE THIS COMPANY

My family recently took a kayak trip with Crystal Seas and it was well organized from beginning to end. It was the highlight of our trip to Washington. We saw eagles and seals and saw whales off in the distance. The guide was a ton of fun and we felt very safe with him. It was worth every penny. I hope to go again with Crystal Seas someday.

Best kayaking company I've been with

I kayaked with other companies but kayaking with Crystal Seas was awesome because their guides were amazing and love what they do for a living. They have such high praises for their bosses that I know it is a good organization. My guide had been working for Crystal Seas for 4 years. The wildlife was great and the San Juan Islands are one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.

Best tour comapny I have ever had!

I was initially recommended to Crystal Seas by the bed and breakfast that I was staying at the first time I took a tour. Crystal Seas Kayaking had wonderful customer service when I was planning trip to the San Juan Islands. They picked me up for free once I was there. We were happy to find that we would stay dry because we started the tour on their kayak docks. The naturalist was funny, informative and very entertaining. Their guide grew up on San Juan Island and clearly loved her job and where she lived. We saw so much wildlife I could not believe it. Since then I have booked several other trips with them including a 3 day trip. Our guides are always awesome and make great food! This company is first class and I very highly recommend them to all of my friends.

Not with this company..

I thought the "view from the water" would be a great experience. I took a really expensive..and short trip with Crystal Seas. I take people on photographic trips and was taking a trip to look into good activities and thought despite the high price it must be worth it to be able to paddle out along the coast. We didn't...we paddled around the bay...sort of like a very, very expensive paddle boat ride in the local pond. The reason was the "currents". I saw many other trips out around the island that day. I called to express my concern and was told the manager would return my call. He never did and when I called again, I was told that he didn't think my call was worth returning. I would never use this company for any trip and will be vocal with those I share information with. Save your money...take a drive or a hike, you will see as much believe me.
This felt like the biggest rip-off and brush off I have experienced in a long time. I would never use this particular company in any location.
- Cons: Thumbs down! Do not deliver a good trip for the high price.
